8 Days Kenya Safari takes you on an ultimate immersion into Kenya’s diverse landscapes and wildlife. Expect to explore the lush Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha. Game drives, boat rides, and guided walks are among the unique experiences that await you on this safari.

Day 1: Arrival for your Kenya Safari

Upon landing at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, expect to be picked up and transferred to the hotel. A short Kenya tour to the Giraffe Centre can be enjoyed in case of early arrival. At the comfort of your accommodation in Nairobi, expect to have a quick briefing about your itinerary and later, enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Transfer to Amboseli by road

After a hefty breakfast, leave your hotel for Amboseli in the southern circuit of Kenya. In about 4 hours’ drive, you will be in Amboseli, home to abundant elephant herds and also an excellent spot for viewing the legendary Kilimanjaro Volcano.

Besides elephants, Amboseli is popular for sightings of cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, and many birds. The park occupies an area of 392 sq. km in Kajiado County. In the afternoon, after having lunch and some relaxation, you will begin your wildlife adventure in Amboseli with the guided game drive.

Day 3: Enjoy a full day in Amboseli plains

Leave your accommodation for a long, memorable game viewing session starting in the morning and ending in the afternoon. Along the game tracks in Amboseli, expect to locate several of the African elephants, gazelles, zebras, Grant’s & Thomson’s gazelles. You may also find some interesting birds that reside around the marshy wetlands.

Day 4: Kenya road trip to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, set off from Amboseli for Lake Naivasha, located along the Great Rift area. Arrive early, and today’s experience in Lake Naivasha will involve enjoying a boat ride. You will also take a walk around Crescent Island Game Sanctuary as you explore some of its amazing animals and birds.

The Crescent sanctuary holds a range of animals worth viewing. The list includes the mongoose, zebras, giraffes, hippos, bat-eared fox, crayfish, and many birds like woodpeckers, pelicans, & kingfishers. Later, return expect to return from the afternoon game tour to the lodge for relaxation.

Day 5: Naivasha-Nakuru

Transfer from Lake Naivasha to the scenic neighboring Lake Nakuru. This park is most famous for its 1000s of beautiful flamingos, and also as a home to the black and white rhinos. Expect a guided game drive session to explore some of the iconic animals and birds in Lake Nakuru National Park.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara (Kenya)

Enjoy an early morning breakfast in the wilderness camp/lodge and check out. Expect to exit Lake Nakuru for the Maasai Mara, and today, you will have an amazing afternoon game drive. Proceed to the lodge for relaxation and then dinner.

Day 7: Experience the Mara –full day

Embark on a sensational game viewing journey through the lush Masai Mara. Get ready to witness the wildebeest migration, the Big 5, and many other savannah dwellers.

Additional wildlife encounters to expect on a game drive in Masai Mara include the Thomson’s gazelles, zebras, dik-diks, cheetahs, bat-eared foxes, spotted hyenas, elands, impalas, topis, and topis.

After the enriching game drive sessions both morning and afternoon, retreat and have a great time at the lodge.

Day 8: Drive back to Nairobi, No any activity

After a hot cup of tea/coffee, check out of the lodge, and today, you will be returning to Nairobi. Arrive at Nairobi early and clear with the airport authorities. Expect to take a flight back home, and this concludes the 8-day Kenya Safari.
