Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Mount Kilimanjaro. Overnight Stay at Arusha
Arrive at the marvelous Kilimanjaro International Airport where our representative collects you. By road get transported to your hotel, situated only 51.3 kilometers away, in Arusha. It is important that you have dinner in the evening, because you have to sleep here in good romantic moods. This marks the end of your first day of this 10 days Tanzania honeymoon safafri.
Day 2: Pick up from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
While at your hotel, get picked up by our guide. You should be prepared for 237 kilometers of driving from Arusha to Serengeti National Park. This is a unique scenic drive, that guarantees views of kopjes, the Big Five and Great Migration participants. You can make pauses to appreciate the biodiversity enroute. Arrive inside Serengeti and enjoy more views of animals and birds. Check in at your camp and unwind. Evening comes with dinner at camp before overnight stay.
Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
Explore Central Serengeti on a guided game drive after breakfast. This is done in the morning and afternoon with the major pause done for picnic lunch. The Seronera area offers views of large numbers of resident lions, leopards, cheetahs and others. In fact, all members of the Big Five live here. Wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and others love to share these spaces as well. A return to your camp is for a much needed candle-lit dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, check out and head to the Ngorongoro Crater Area. throughout the drive to the world’s largest intact caldera, spot many predators and herbivores. Though the crater is only 67.5 kilometers from Serengeti National Park, you arrive in the afternoon. Check in at your camp that overlooks the crater for lunch. Unwind on your balcony with views of the beautiful crater features. Your exclusive dinner is specially prepared to spice up your romantic evening just before you go to bed.
Day 5: Crater Rim Walking Tour and Game Drive in Ngorongoro
From the highlands, descend to the Ngorongoro Crater and do a guided walk. An opportunity is now presented to see numerous ostriches, hippos, buffaloes, lions and many others. Have lunch and descend back into the crater to see rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards and elephants etc. Next is a game drive to see these and even more animals. Ascend back to your camp and enjoy dinner and some good sleep at night.
Day 6: Arusha to Zanzibar-Stone Town
After breakfast, head back to Arusha, where your scheduled flight takes place. Today, you transfer to Zanzibar for even more fun-filled experiences. Get aerial views of the clear blue coastline during and after the flight. At the Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, our representative meets you and drives you to your resort in Stone Town. Check in and have a romantic lunch. Then relax by the beach to witness the beauty of the archipelago. Have dinner later and overnight stay with the ocean breeze blowing through the accommodation.
Day 7: Stone Town Tour and Spice Plantation Tour
After breakfast, do a guided walk within Stone Town to experience one of the loveliest UNESCO Heritage sites. You and your partner should visit the Sultan’s Palace and the Slave Market Memorial. A lot of history is told of these sites. They include wars, power struggles and sale of slaves to foreigners. Head to the very famous Spice Market to experience unique Tanzanian culture. You might also love to do a guided tour in a Spice Farm. A variety of cloves, ginger, tamarind, cinnamon and curry etc. can be explored and purchased on this tour.
While here, enjoy traditional lunch composed of Swahili dishes, and not forgetting the aromatic spices, included for you. With your spices return to your accommodation to relax for the rest of the day. Your dinner is available back at your resort. Day 8: Safari Blue
With breakfast done, you two can enjoy off-shore activities. Wear the appropriate gear and do snorkeling to reveal turtles, coral reefs, fish and other marine biodiversity. Head back to the beach and get on a sun lounger for sunbathing with your partner. Have some lunch at your accommodation. Climb on a dhow boat and sail on the blue ocean to see birds, playful dolphins and others. Excursion leaders explain the rich history about the water and Zanzibar to you as you sail until sunset.
After a splendid time on a sundowner, get back to the resort and just beneath the moonlight, enjoy another candle-lit dinner. Enjoy these romantic moments until you feel tired. Get a goodtime in bed, where you can sleep until the next morning.
Day 9: Full Day at the Beach and Exploration
After breakfast, leave your resort for a few hours to explore the Jozani Forest. Take photos of the beautiful red-colobus monkeys that shelter in this pristine place. Sport several bird species that also share this habitat with the primates. Return to your accommodation for a perfect combination of local and international dishes for your lunch. Unwind at the beach until evening time. Have dinner before overnight.
Day 10: Departure
